Minor League Update

It has been a great year for Josh Prevost and Conor Krauss as they have both continued to pitch at a high level. Josh Prevost has been dealing for the Brooklyn Cyclones in the New York-Penn League. Prevost has pitched 19.2 innings with an ERA of 1.83 and a WHIP of 1.17. He has struck out 14 batters and surrendered only 4 earned runs. Conor Krauss has split time with two minor league clubs in the Cincinnati Reds organization. In the Arizona League, Krauss was dominant. In 12.2 innings he surrendered just 2 earned runs while posting a 1.42 ERA. He struck out 17 batters and picked up 2 saves. Since August 1, he has been pitching for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League. In 10.2 innings he has posted a 9.28 ERA with 8 strikeouts. We know that Conor will turn it around and be a key asset for the Mustangs. While the baseball season may be winding down, the basketball season is about to heat up. Here is an update on the Seton Hall Pirates players who were selected in the 2014 MLB Draft. Conor Krauss has been pitching well for the AZL Reds. He has given up no earned runs in 3.2 innings pitched. He also has 5 strikeouts. Josh Prevost has pitched 4.1 innings for the Brooklyn Cyclones. His ERA currently stands at 2.08.
